Movie Premiere: “Finding Fela” – Directed By Alex Gibney

15th Oct 2014 And Nigerian premiere of the movie of late legendary afro-beat king Fela Anikulapo Kuti titled “Finding Fela” took place at the New Afrika Shrine in Lagos on Sunday.

The documentary, directed by Academy Award-winning director, Alex Gibney tells the story of Fela’s life, his creation of afro-beat music, his contradictions and revolution against the political system.
