20th Nov 2014 So Omo baba olowo himself, Davido the Aye singer got his fans looking forward to his latest song, by announcing that it would drop on his birthday, which is tomorrow, Friday.
But to the fans surprise, Davido decided to bless them ahead of schedule by dropping the song, “Owo ni koko” yesterday, Wednesday.
In the song, “Owo ni koko” a Yoruba line which translates to “money is the most important” Davido talks about irrelevance of one’s swag if one doesn’t have money.
The last single the multiple award-winning star released was “Tchelete” which means money, featuring South African duo Mafikizolo, in April this year.
It seems omo baba olowu really does have a thing for the money.
