New video alert: D’prince – “Oyo”

1st Dec 2014 Don Jazzy’s younger brother D’Prince aka Omoba has unleashed the video to his latest single titled “OYO” popular acronym for “On Your Own”.

D’Prince sings about the importance of relying on one’s self to attain success in life rather than hoping for assistance from rich people and the government.

In the video D’Prince plays the role of a beggar on the busy streets of Lagos, not getting much joy from the rich.

“OYO” is meant to be a wakeup call to the realization that you are on your own. The video was directed by acclaimed video director Clarence Peters while the song was produced by Don Jazzy.
