Pellegrini to leave man city in June – club

Feb 04, 2016 Manchester City football club recently revealed that they will be parting ways with current coach Manuel Pellegrini at the end on the current campaign.

According to a statement on the club’s website, the 62 year old Chilean will be replaced with Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola.

The statement said:

“Out of respect for Manuel Pellegrini and the players, the Club wishes to make its decision public to remove the unnecessary burden of speculation… Manuel, who is fully supportive of the decision to make this communication, is entirely focused on achieving his targets for the season ahead and retains the respect and commitment of all involved with the leadership of the Club.”

City currently sits second in the Premier League, three points behind surprise leaders Leicester City.
