Rio Mayor Eduardo Paes presents BMX cycling track to be used for 2016 games

Sep 2, 2015 In the build up to next summer’s Olympics, Eduardo Paes, the Mayor of Rio recently presented the BMX cycling track at the Deodoro Sports Complex.

The event which marked the official completion of the track also had in attendance the President of the Organizing Committee for Rio 2016, Carlos Nuzman.

The official debut of the space has been scheduled for October 3rd and will feature over 100 athletes from 30 countries for the International BMX Challenge.
