Shatta Wale sued for 10 Million Cedis for defamation

13th Oct 2014 Howdy EL Now faithfuls!

Have you heard that Ghanaian reggae and dancehall artist Shatta Wale has been slammed with a 10 million Ghanaian cedi lawsuit for defamation against Ghanaian event management and production house Charter House?

Shatta Wale had posted videos on Facebook where he attacked Charter House, insulting the company and accusing them of fraud and favoritism.

Chatter House has accused the dancehall artist of defamation, demanding that he not only retracts the videos but upload a video of apology on his Facebook account and pay 10 million Ghanaian cedis to the company for damages.

Shatta Wale might get away with the insults he rained on the Charter House, but can he get away with accusing the company of fraud if he can’t prove this?
