South African moive “Ayanda” starring Fulu Mugavhani & O.C. Ukeje to be distributed in the USA

Sep 23, 2015 We kick off with South African movie titled “Ayanda” starring South African actress Fulu Mugovhani and Nollywood actor O.C. Ukeje which is set for distribution in the US by American film maker and film distributor Ava DuVernay.

Directed by Sara Blecher, the movie had won the “Special Jury Price” in the World Fiction Competition at the LA Film Festival in July.

The movie tells the story of a 21-year old lady who fights to preserve her father’s auto repair shop from being sold after her father’s death.
