The Zimbabwean born TV host of Top Billing was involved in a fatal car crash in Johannesburg on his way to the airport.

EL Now news gathers the presenter was in the car with his friend and his father who was the only survivor of the crash.

He has been described by many as a gentle giant, a kind, hard working and extraordinary individual.

Simba Mhere died 31 years old.
