Stephanie Linus becomes ambassador of “Stop Violence Against Women in Election” campaign

Sep 9, 2015 And beloved Nollywood actress Stephanie Linus has been unveiled as the new Ambassador for the “Stop Violence against Women in Elections” campaign, by USAID and NDI at Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja last week.

As an ambassador of the campaign, Stephanie Linus is expected to create awareness on violence against women before, during and after elections in Nigeria, especially with forthcoming gubernatorial elections in some states.

Stephanie Linus expressed her passion about the cause, pledging her full support in the presence of dignitaries including the acting Chairman of INEC Hajiya Amina Zakari, Deputy Governor of Plateau State Mrs. Pauline Tallen among others.
