Students who survived Garissa attack to be relocated to another campus to continue their studies

13th April 2015 The world is still coming to terms with the recent massacre of 147 students in Garissa, Kenya. For the surviving student, plans have been concluded to relocate the remaining six hundred and forty six students wh to Moi University’s main campus in Uasin Gishu County in the country. Students are expected to report to the main campus on the twentieth of May, this year.

Moi university has also announced that it is building a police post on the main campus to increase security for its students and staff. The school’s Vice Chancellor Richard Mibey is quoted as saying “At Moi University, we are making arrangements for all the students, teaching and non-teaching staff who survived the heinous terror attack to come here on May 20, 2015 so that they can carry on with their academic activities,”
