Viva Naija reviews EbonyLife Film’s debut movie “FIFTY”

Oct 22, 2015 We start off with EbonyLife Films’ debut movie “Fifty” which continues to make waves as it gets thumbs up from UK-based blog VivaNaija.com.

Describing the movie “Fifty” as a triumph, Viva Naija goes ahead to commend “Fifty’s” positive portrayal of Lagos as well as Nigerian women, with prestigious statuses.

Viva Naija applauds the gallant efforts of the stars of “Fifty”, Ireti Doyle, Omoni Oboli, Dakore Egbuson-Akande, Nse Ikpe-Etim, the director of “Fifty” Biyi Bandele as well as the executive producer, Mo Abudu.

The review commends British Film Institute for choosing to screen “Fifty” at the 2015 BFI London Film Festival, as the movie is one that makes Nollywood proud, devoid of native doctors and sorcery often typical of poor quality Nollywood movies.

“Fifty” is scheduled to hit Nigerian cinemas on December 18
