Winners and dramas at MTV Africa Music Award 2015

So, 2015 MTV Africa Music Awards went down in Durban, South Africa on Saturday with African music heavy weights casting away prestigious awards, but not without all sorts of drama.

From O.B.O Davido winning Best Male Award for the second time in a row and announcing an August-scheduled collabo with his number one contender Wizkid, to Koko Master D’banj winning the MAMA Evolution Award and dedicating it to his former record label partner Don Jazzy.

D’banj also satisfied his fans’ curiosity when he confirmed the rumoured relationship between him and Bonang Matheba by planting a hot kiss on her lips at the announcement of his award.

Also winning big was South African comedian Trevor Noah with the Personality of the Year award, Yemi Alade with the best female award, Cassper Nyovest carting the Best Hip Hop award, P-Square – Best Group award and Artist of the Decade award, the Mavins – Song of the Year Award with “Dorobucci” and many more.
