Winners at The Headies 2015

The brand new year kicked off with the much-anticipated 10th edition of the Headies award which went down at Landmark Events Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos on January 1.
Winning big at the awards were top stars such as Timi Dakolo who cleared 3 awards including Best Recording of the Year award with his track “Wish Me Well”, which also won him Best R&B Single as well as Best Vocal Performance (Male) award.
YBNL boss Olamide won the prestigious Artiste of the Year award as well as Best Street Hop Artiste award with his hit song “Bobo”.
StarBoy boss Wizkid won the Song of the Year award with his hit track “Ojuelegba” as well as Best R&B/Pop Album with his sophomore album “AYO”.
Rapper Vector won the Best Rap Single with his track “King Kong” as well as Lyricist on the Roll award which he won back to back for two years.
“German Juice” singer Cynthia Morgan made history as the first female to bag the Best Reggae/Dancehall single, with her track “German Juice”
And Reekado banks scooped the much coveted Next Rated award sparking the much-talked about beef between Mavin Record boss Don Jazzy and YBNL boss Olamide who believes YBNL act Lilkesh deserved the Next Rated award.
