XI commends Boeing's long, productive cooperation with China

Sep 28, 2015 Chinese President Xi Jinping recently commended Boeing’s long and productive relationship with China. Speaking at the company’s factory in Everett, he urged the aircraft maker to lift its partnership with China to higher levels.

In his speech, President Xi highlighted that Boeing’s cooperation with China has evolved considerably over time and has produced results that were mutually beneficial. He added that China’s development will bring more opportunities for U.S. enterprises.

Accompanied by the company’s CEO Ray Conner, President Xi toured the company’s assembly workshop, speaking with staff members about energy conservation measures in the aviation industry.

Xi pointed out that Boeing is a supporter, participant and advocate of Sino-U.S. cooperation in economy and trade. The president ended his tour by boarded a Boeing 787 aircraft that is soon be delivered to China’s Xiamen Airlines.
