Yemi Sodimu, Kunle Afolayan, Tunde Kelani march against copyright piracy

23rd April 2015 What’s up guys!

So, in protests against the age-long pirating of copyrighted materials, especially Nollywood movies, such as those of Kunle Afolayan’s latest movie “October 1” and Ayo Makun’s “30 Days in Atlanta”, Nollywood stars including actor Yemi Sodimu, Kunle Afolayan and veteran director Tunde Kelani and many others took to the streets of Lagos in a march against the criminal act.

The protesters set out from Ikeja and marched through Awolowo Way all the way to the Lagos State Governor’s Office in Alausa.

The Nollywood protesters got the attention of Lagos State governor Babatunde Fashiola, who addressed the crowd and promised to look into the matter. Fingers crossed.
