Chelsea's Mourinho complains of attitude towards suspended Costa

Oct 01, 2015 Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho recently implied that there is a ‘witch-hunt’ by the footballing authorities against Diego Costa. The Chelsea forward was handed a three match ban in retrospect after being found guilty of violent conduct in Chelsea’s 2-0 win over Arsenal earlier this month.

When asked by a reporter how his team would fare, if they had 11 “Diego Costas”, the Chelsea boss replied:

“I think we would lose every game because the desire to suspend him is so big that you wouldn’t have enough players to start the game. I am happy to only have one and let him play until they decide to suspend him again,”
