Tiger Woods not optimistic he will return to golf soon.
Dec 04, 2015 Veteran golfer Tiger Woods recently threw doubt over his golfing career, after he revealed that he hasn’t swung a golf club since undergoing a back surgery.
Speaking ahead of the Hero World Challenge, Wood said:
“Therein lies a tough question and a tough answer because I have no answer for that and neither does my surgeon or my physios. There is no timetable. That’s the hardest part for me.There is really nothing I can look forward to. Nothing I can build towards. It”s just literally taking it day by day and week by week and time by time. It’s different from any other surgeries and procedures I’ve had in the past. You blowout your ACL (anterior cruciate ligament), which I did. I had ACL reconstruction and OK you’re back in 9 months. OK that’s the timetable. For nerves there really are no timetables. Therein lies the trickier part of it because you can come back earlier or come back later. It just depends on how the nerve heals and how the nerve settles.”
