Ball state freshman wins free tuition after sinking half-court shot

Aug 28, 2015 Lem Turner, a freshman at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana recently won a free tuition for a semester after sinking a half-court shot.

The freshman made the shot at a preparatory rally at the home of the Cardinal’s basketball teams, Worthen Arena as part of the Ball State’s welcome events for incoming freshman.

This was the second time in three years that a student has made a half-court shot to win tuition for a semester.
