China's foreign trade keeps good trend in 2015, says Chinese official

Dec 30, 2015 With the year gradually grinding to a close, Chinese authorities recently released statement saying that the country’s foreign trade maintained a good trend in 2015.

Zhi Luxun, deputy director of the Chinese Ministry of Commerce’s foreign trade department made reference to statistics released by the World Trade Organization, saying:

“The general trade, private enterprises, electromechanical products have made a positive growth in export. To our delight, our private enterprises overpass foreign-invested enterprises in the country’s export proportion for the first time, up from 7.3 percent in 2001 to 44.9 percent… I want to emphasize that exports bring a direct or indirect employment of 180 million and creates 18 percent of the national revenue,”
