MOVIE HALF OF A YELLOW SUN PREMIERES IN LONDON

10 Apr 2014 We kick off with a red carpet report as this week saw the London premiere for the movie adaptation of Chimamanda Adichie’s Half of A Yellow Sun.

The event which was held at the Odeon Cinema in South London was graced by the stars of the movie including Chiwetel Ejiofor, John Boyega, director Biyi Bandele and Thandie Newton for whom this was her first red carpet appearance since the birth of her son 5 weeks ago.

The movie which is based on the Biafran Civil war has gained an impressive level of local and international acclaim.
