Nigeria to partake in the oncoming continental cycling competition in Togo.

07 Apr 2014 We look at sporting news with the information that Nigeria is prepared to take place in its first continental cycling competition for the year.
The Togo tour, which will kick off on the 12th of April, will see six Nigerian cyclists represent Nigeria. Technical director of the Nigeria Cycling Federation (NCF) Mohammed Bashir said that the Nigerian team would depart for Togo two days ahead of the competition, accompanied by three officials on the tour.

All the cyclists have been training intensively and 2 names to look out for during the competition are Emmanuel Innocent and John Preye who presented impressive performances as junior cyclists. The duo have been in South Africa on a training tour sponsored by the Nigerian cycling federation.
